Dear Solo Professional,
Action Group forming now for January 2010
Are you ready to attract an endless stream of clients for your professional services? Whether you're an accountant, a therapist, a coach or a lawyer, you need to have an online presence these days to promote your practice. This step-by-step action plan propels you toward that goal.
There's no need to wait until you research all the strategies and how-to's, and no need to blunder around making avoidable - and expensive - mistakes. Technophobe Therapy helps you figure out your ideal client base, shows you the quickest and easiest plan of action, tells you the pitfalls to avoid and gets you started creating a new flow of clients from some simple online marketing.
And you won't need to leave your home or office to learn how to do all this! Join a 4 week, action-focused seminar that teaches and guides you via telephone discussion, teleseminars and written resource material. You get comprehensive instruction, candid feedback from other solo professionals, group support and cutting-edge guidance from someone who's been able to increase her own client flow more than 50% using this system.
In 2007, a friend of mine had to have surgery and be out of her law office for almost four months. It got to me thinking about my own "what if's" and I made a decision to start an online business that had a recurring income stream. I made a lot of mistakes along the way, but now I can tell you what really works when it comes to getting found by Google and other online search engines.
I'm Pamela S. Wynn and I'm a Florida attorney. Over the years, I've been leery of the costs of advertising, especially the pay-per-click ads and I've watched others struggling to try to get their practice websites found without breaking the bank. Some of my solo practice colleagues are spending nearly $50,000 a year on advertising!
Now the big focus is on all this "new media" stuff like Twitter and LinkedIn. You understand the potential benefits but you don't want to devote all your spare time to this stuff. There has to be some way to manage these web technologies without spending hours every day trying to get your practice found online.
You know that you need more than a website these days… but how can you pull it all off without breaking the budget or spending your life online?
If you dream of creating a flow of clients from online searches for yourself or your practice, Technophobe Therapy dramatically cuts your mistakes, multiplies your payoff and most importantly, gets you moving confidently and wisely toward being found online without breaking the bank or spending all your time at your computer.
I created an online business to help people representing themselves in Florida divorce cases. For ethical reasons, the online business website did not link to my law office site. I thought people wouldn't bother to find me, because frankly, I didn't want anymore law clients. Since then, despite these economic times, my phone has continued to ring with client inquiries.
When I try to refer them to other attorneys, they don't want to go to anyone they can't "get a feel for" online first. You see, by creating my massive online presence, I developed credibility with these potential clients. By reading my online writings they have a good idea of how I view common divorce issues and how I believe in running a law practice.
Once I figured out what really works when it came to attracting clients to my online educational business (with no paid advertising) and the spin-off business it unintentionally created for my law practice, I understood the how this powerful strategy could easily attract clients online to any service professional's practice – using just 3 Key Technologies.
And the teacher inside me did a little happy dance. Because frankly, I don't want more law clients. I've always preferred teaching so I've decided to move into the online teaching world completely. That's why I stopped using one of my 3 Key Technologies more than a year ago. That's right, I'm currently only using 2/3 of this strategy because it works so well it continues to attract to my law practice, even now after almost two years.
I've learned a lot in my journey, things like,
"If you're not marketing to somebody, you're marketing to nobody!"
That's why I'll help you clarify your Dream Client Profile as part of this Action Group. And then we will go step-by-step and I'll show you exactly how to use the 3 Key Technologies so you'll have everything in place by the end of class.
That's why it's called an Action Group. You'll get hands-on instruction and actually be using the 3 Key Technologies in just one month.
Enroll in this multifaceted program and you will not have to make the same mistakes I made – mistakes that cost me thousands of dollars. Learn how to promote your practice and get found online in just one short month!
The upcoming Technophobe Therapy action group offers step-by-step instruction as well as 24/7 access to resources and answers, and advice. The instruction is organized in four topical lessons so that you tackle first things first and details later.
You also receive reference material and resources - in short, just about everything you need to create an online presence for your practice more quickly than you would have imagined.
1. Come to the weekly teleclass. Each recorded lesson lasts about 90 minutes, ending with a specific homework assignment in which you apply the ideas and watch your online marketing take shape. The handouts - collected in a course manual - contain a detailed outline of the lessons, so that you can follow along while listening if you choose and later use the manual as a reminder list each time you take your information empire to another level of development. (Value of the audio recordings: $597)
The teleclass calls take place once a week for four weeks on Monday at Noon Eastern time, beginning January 25. Need to miss one, two or even three calls? They'll be available for playback or downloading as MP3 audio files, allowing you to keep pace with the group even if you have to miss a class. Plus, you can go back and listen anytime you want.
2. Discuss the homework assignments during group calls. Each lesson ends with action steps that get you moving forward on creating your online marketing products. Every week for four weeks, phone in for a scheduled 60 minute conference call during which you get a turn to receive feedback from me and the rest of the group. As time permits, you can also ask questions about the week's topic. (Value of the four support/feedback calls: $297)
Conference calls take place once a week for four weeks on Friday at Noon Eastern time, beginning January 29th. Need to miss one, two or even three calls? Just like the teleclasses, they will be available for playback or downloading as MP3 audio files.
3. Refer to the additional materials and resources in the Tech Therapy Lounge, an exclusive Members-Only area for further assistance ideas. The additional tools you receive with your complimentary membership to the Tech Therapy Lounge provide additional guidance in promoting your site and accomplishing the technical tasks you need to get done to get your practice website found online. (Value of membership site: $47)
4. Receive a 20 minute individual session with me, Pamela s. Wynn, your Tech Solutions Coach. After you've absorbed and applied the ideas, tips and advice described above, you get assistance in kicking all the kinks out of your execution. Just schedule your session within 3 months after the class sessions end. (Normally costs $98 or more)
All together, the 11+ hours of no-travel-necessary class sessions, coaching calls, diamond-sharp private consulting and "keeper" resources ensure that you move as quickly as possible out of the realm of dreams and into real-world search results that get your practice found online!
If you nervously added up the value described above, thinking that the program is going to cost you a full $1,039, relax! Because I truly want you to succeed, I'm offering my own economic stimulus package, so Technophobe Therapy is yours for just $299.00.
And best of all, your enrollment comes with a firm money-back guarantee, valid through the end of the first conference call: Read and listen to the initial materials, use your username and password to check out the private member area and participate in the discussion of the first homework assignment during the first conference call. Then if you decide the course isn't your fast-track ticket to getting your practice found online, simply email me for a prompt refund of everything you paid. The money-back guarantee is valid through midnight January 29th.
I last ran this group last fall and may not run it again for another year or two, so if you're interested, snag one of the 20 slots available. The teacher in me insists on keeping class size small so you can get the attention you need.
Remember too, the sooner you get going on using the techniques you'll learn, the sooner you will get found online! Also keep in mind that as you grow your practice, you'll have the audio recordings and written materials included in Technophobe Therapy to refer to indefinitely.
If you have any questions, please ask! And now, if you're ready to make solid progress on getting your practice found online, enroll in the four-week Technophobe Therapy action group.
My shopping cart uses secure-server technology that makes your purchase safe, and I accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover. If you prefer to pay via check or money order, let me know and send your payment to: Legal Education Center of Fla., Inc., Box 1374, Lake Worth FL 33460

A blog is the #1 way to get your practice found online. You can build a web presence for your practice at little cost when you have a well-considered content strategy for your blog. But aside from the low cost, let's talk about why you must have a blog as a solo professional.
First, each post you create is a web page. By using some simple techniques and targeted keywords, you can easily create many blog post webpages from material you already have in your files. The number of pages you author increases your online visibility.
Second, when you've authored numerous posts (each one a "page") and other blogs start linking to you, you become a recognized expert in the eyes of the search engines.
Third, people now rely on the Internet to find professionals. The days of the phone book are gone. Now people let their fingers do the walking over the keyboard to find local services. And a blog is a great way to stand out from your competitors and take advantage of local Internet searches.
If you want to develop an online presence from your practice, join us for the next session of Technophobe Therapy in January. Just request the Special Report from the right column and you'll be on the priority notification list when enrollment opens in early January.
Remember, you can grow an online presence for your practice with little cost when you have a blog and the strategies to make it even more effective. In Technophobe Therapy you'll learn how to build a blog that gets your practice found online.

Do you wait to book your flight until you are walking out the door? Of course not. You make a plan and reservations before you leave the house. This is just a reminder that the time to make your 2010 goals is NOW, not January 1st.
Your business goals need some attention now. Decide what steps you will take to market your practice and make your plan so that you can hit the ground running when 2010 arrives. While you're at it, mark off time on your calendar each week in 2010 for some time to focus on marketing your practice. Use the recurring appointment feature in your calendar so you can actually block it off on your schedule.
If learning to use online technology is one of your goals, we'll be starting another therapy sessions in January. Be sure to get our Special Report so that you receive advanced notice of our 2010 sessions for learning technology to reposition your practice.

Word Press.com or Word Press.org? Without a doubt it's Word Press.org for your business blog. I've said it before - pay attention when choosing your blogging platform. It's a decision you'll have to live with and (probably) mop up at some point in your business blog.
Remarkablogger has laid out the reasons in a well-written post so I'm not going to reinvent the wheel. For all the reasons you don't want your business blog on Blogger.com, you'll want to choose the Word Press.org version.

Draw clients to your practice with Google Local Business Center. Here's another tip for free resources to market your private practice. This is a different process than completing a Google Profile, which we talked about last week.
The Local Business Center allows you to create a profile description for your practice. The verification process involves receiving a post card and calling in. That's more than the Google profile process and it does take at least a week to verify your office.
The Local Business Center profile has a feature that allows people to see what's nearby your office. And your listing is included in Google Maps, so people searching for businesses bear you will see your office listing. It;s not the targeted type of dream client traffic that we love. On the other hand, people are showing interest by actively clicking for more information, etc.
I'm finding that a fair number of clicks to my website come from the Local Business Center profile. The center also has a new reporting feature that gives you some overall metrics about your profile. Things like how many people have clicked for more information or clicked through to your website are now provided in a report in your user dashboard. For a few minutes of time, your practice could benefit from a listing on the Google Local Business Center.

It looks like you signed your email. You've seen those signatures that look handwritten. I've paid graphics people to make them, but you don't have to. I found a site that gives you a free signature. Check it out. It's called My Live Signature.
You can start making your signature one of two ways: with a scan of your signature or you can do it all online. For me, the online drawing was difficult and didn't look like my signature. I guess you could practice with it if you can't get a scan of your signature. Either way you do it, this is a nice tool for those of you in need of a graphic signature for your site or blog.
